RESOLUTION NO.
Title
A resolution certifying that St. Charles Parish will utilize its own full-time permanent Grants Office staff for the purpose of administering the FY2014-2015 LCDBG Program.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish intends to apply for funding under the FY2014-2015 Louisiana Community Development Block Grant (LCDBG) Program for a Sewer System Rehabilitation project; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish maintains full-time permanent staff in the Grants Office for the sole purpose of and with proven capacity for administering federal, state, and other grant programs, including the LCDBG Program; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish intends to pay all administrative costs for the Grants Office staff to complete the FY2014-2015 application and implement the project, if funded, resulting in the State awarding one (1) point to the final score of the application in its evaluation and scoring of the application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby certify that the St. Charles Parish will utilize its own full-time permanent Grants Office staff for the purpose of administering the FY2014-2015 LCDBG Program.
