Title
An ordinance to revoke the Program Management Services with Hartman Engineering, Inc. for the Wastewater Regionalization Program.
Body
WHEREAS, on November 20, 2000, the Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 00-11-11 approving a Contract for Engineering Services with Hartman Engineering, Inc. for Program Management for Capital Outlay, Environmental Management, and Wastewater System Improvements and Evaluations Projects; and,
WHEREAS, on July 10, 2000, the Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 00-7-7 approving a Contract for Engineering Services with Hartman Engineering, Inc. for Program Management Services for the Wastewater Regionalization Program; and,
WHEREAS, on April 3, 2000, the Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 00-4-13 approving a Contract with Hartman Engineering, Inc. for Program Management Services for the Wastewater Regionalization Program; and,
WHEREAS, the Regional Wastewater Plant Project has reached close to a maximum of $41 Million Dollars as approved by the voters of this Parish; and,
WHEREAS, during the January 29, 2000, Operations, Maintenance, and Construction Management Committee Meeting, the Public Works Director reported that 99% of this Project is complete as originally envisioned and approved by the Council. Further contingencies of this Project is not evaluated by the Qualification Based Selection Review Panel; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to separate new Capital Projects from approved Capital Projects within the Wastewater Department.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
