Title
An ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 22, Article V., Sewer Development Connection fee, Table 1: Flow Estimates for Residential and Commercial Establishments.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-6-15 was adopted June 17, 1991, by the St. Charles Parish Council approving an estimate of values for new construction; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the estimated values in certain situations based on the actual usage documented by types of developments to ensure that these new values will be fair and equitable.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the St. Charles Parish Code, Chapter 22, Article V., Sewer Development Connection Fee, Table 1, Flow Estimates for Residential and Commercial Establishments is hereby amended by deleting the existing Table Column Heading reading Equivalent ERA to read: Equivalent ERU.
SECTION II. That Chapter 22, Article V., Sewer Development Connection Fee,, Table 1, Flow Estimates for Residential and Commercial Establishments is hereby amended by deleting the existing sections on Food Service Operations and Hotels and Motels and replacing them with the following:
Food Service Operations:
(a) Ordinary restaurant, per table (4 seats) ……………………… 50 0.22
(b) 24-hour restaurant, per table (4 seats) ……………………… 75 0.33
(c) Single-service articles only, per table (4 seats)……………… 25 0.11
(d) Bar and cocktail lounge, per table (4 seats) ………………… 30 0.13
