Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Contract with Favalora Construction, Inc., P. O. Box 628, Kenner, Louisiana 70063, License Number 19151 for the construction of the St. Charles Parish Library, St. Rose Branch, Project No. 20058.01 in the amount of $1,244,614.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the St. Charles Parish Library on August 30, 2001, for construction of the St. Charles Parish Library, St. Rose Branch; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Library Board and Chenevert Songy Rodi Soderberg, Inc., Architects for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Favalora Constructors, Inc., in the amount of $1,244,614.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Favalora Constructors, Inc. for the construction of the St. Rose Library Branch be and is hereby accepted in the amount of $1,244,614.00.
SECTION II. The Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2001, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
