Title
An ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances Chapter 14 Miscellaneous Provisions and Offenses, Section 14-5. Injuring, Destroying, Defacing Parish Property (c) by increasing the reward amount.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
      SECTION I.  That the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 14 Miscellaneous Provisions and Offenses, Section 14-5. Injuring, Destroying, Defacing Parish Property (c) be amended as follows:
AS WRITTEN
(c)      A five hundred dollar ($500.00) reward shall be given to any person providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of a person or persons responsible for causing damage to public property:  buildings, security, machinery, drainage pumps, levees, canals, ditches, subsurface drainage.  The person or persons who provide the information could not have been a party to the damage.

(c)      A thousand dollar ($1,000.00) reward shall be given to any person providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of a person or persons responsible for causing damage to public property: buildings, security, machinery, drainage pumps, levees, canals, ditches, subsurface drainage.  The person or persons who provide the information could not have been a party to the damage.
