Title
A resolution providing mandatory supporting authorization for a waiver of all applicable subdivision regulations, including but not limited to, all specifications and requirements for public and private services and utilities; drainage impact analysis and wetland delineation as outlined in Planning & Zoning Commission Case PZS-99-95.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Subdivision Regulations of 1981 (as amended) requires both Planning & Zoning Commission approval and a supporting resolution of the Parish Council for variations to the subdivision regulations; and,
WHEREAS, the applicants, Short Cut Canal Resort, Inc. have presented a subdivision plan to create 103 camp lots along Bayou Des Allemands and Lake Salvador to; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed subdivision as shown on the plat by John J. Avery and Assoc., Inc. and dated August 27, 1999 was designed to preserve existing fishing and recreational camp communities, and will not be a permanent residential subdivision; and,
WHEREAS, the subdivision as presented would require waivers of all applicable subdivision regulations, including but not limited to, all specifications and requirements for public and private services and utilities; drainage impact analysis and wetland delineation; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed variation from the subdivision regulations has received approval from the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby hereby provide this supporting resolution for the waiver of all applicable subdivision regulations including, but not limited to, all specifications and requirements for public and private services and utilities; drainage impact analysis and wetland delineation as outlined in Planning & Zoning Commission Case PZS-99-95.
