Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P090803, St. Charles Parish Public Works and Wastewater Office Renovation and Relocation Project to decrease the contract amount by $2,153.65.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10-8-2, adopted Aug 9, 2010, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Frickey Brothers Construction, Inc. for Parish Project No. P090803 St. Charles Parish Public Works and Wastewater Office Renovation and Relocation Project in the amount of $505,862.00; and,
WHEREAS, the decrease in contract amount resulted from the modification of seven line items in the amount of $54,653.25 and increasing twelve line items in the amount of $52,534.91; and,
WHEREAS, the decrease in contract time of seven (7) days was accomplished due to an earlier Substantial Completion date in the project, allowing relocation of the St. Charles Parish Public Works and Wastewater Offices on December 6, 2010.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS,
SECTION I. To approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P090803, St. Charles Parish Public Works and Wastewater Office Renovation and Relocation Project to decrease the contract amount by $2,153.65 and no change in the contract time to complete the project.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
