Title
A resolution to appoint Ms. Debbie Dufresne Vial to the Regional Planning Commission.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 16-12-4 was adopted by the St. Charles Parish Council on December 12, 2016, to approve the re-establishment of a Regional Planning Commission to include the Parishes of St. Charles and St. John the Baptist jointly with the Parishes of Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, and Tangipahoa; and,
WHEREAS, by virtue of this Resolution, the Governing Authority of St. Charles Parish shall appoint a member to the Regional Planning Commission who must not otherwise hold elected or appointed office in the Parish of St. Charles and approved by the Parish President.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Ms. Debbie Dufresne Vial 13979 River Road, Luling, LA 70070 is hereby appointed to the REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said appointment shall be effective IMMEDIATELY and shall expire JANUARY 8, 2023.
