Title
A resolution to rescind Resolution No. 5245 changing the appointment of Committee Chairman from the last meeting in December to the first meeting in January.
Body
WHEREAS, on January 10, 2005, Resolution No. 5245 was adopted by this Council approving changing the appointment of Committee Chairman from the last meeting in December to the first meeting in January; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5245 is invalid and must comply with Council Rule 19 in which the rule may be repealed, altered, or amended by concurrence of a majority of all Councilmen, but motion for this purpose must be in writing, and lie over for a least one week after introduction before final passage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL DO HEREBY RESCIND RESOLUTION NO. 5245.
