Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No P160302-5, Road Maintenance 2018, to balance the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $125,845.75 and an increase in time of twenty-four (24) days.

Body

WHEREAS,                     Ordinance No. 18-12-7 adopted December 10, 2018 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No P160302-5, Road Maintenance 2018, to Barriere Construction Co, LLC; and,

WHEREAS,                     it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease to the contract amount by $125,845.75 and an increase in time of twenty-four (24) days.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

                     SECTION I.                     That Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No. P160302-5, Road Maintenance 2018, to decrease the contract amount by $125,845.75 and an increase in time of twenty-four (24) days is hereby approved and accepted.

                     SECTION II.  That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

 

 

 

 

And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of __________, 2019, to become effective five (5) days after this publication in the official journal.
