Title
An ordinance amending St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances Appendix A, Section XI.C.3.d. Commercial, Industrial, or Multifamily (requirements for certificates of zoning compliance).
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish is experiencing substantial commercial and industrial growth; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish Council through the Department of Planning and Zoning issues building permits/certificates of zoning compliance for these developments; and,
WHEREAS, The St. Charles Parish Council requires a copy of the floor plans and three copies of the site plan; and,
WHEREAS, The Department of Planning and Zoning forwards copies of the plans to the appropriate departments/agencies; and,
WHEREAS, The Department of Planning and Zoning stores these plans for a period of 5 years before they are microfilmed; and ,
WHEREAS, The Department of Planning and Zoning desires to minimize the space required to store these plans.
WHEREAS, The Department of Planning and Zoning proposes to have the developer furnish two digital copies of the complete plans, after final amendments on CD ROM in DWG. format
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. To amend. St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances Appendix A, Section XI. C.3.d.Commercial, Industrial, or Multifamily 5) be amended by adding the following ;
5) 3 printed copies of floor plans and 2 digital copies of the complete building plans, after final amendments, on CD ROM's in DWG. Format
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby provide that the Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Parish of St. Charles, State of Louisiana is amended by requiring developers to submit 3 printed copies of the floor plan, and 2 digital copies of the complete building plans after final amendments, on CD ROM's in DWG.
