Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Final Change Order No. One (1) for the Bourg Pumping Station Rehabilitation to decrease the contract amount by $117,359.85.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 00-7-14, adopted by St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Hebert Brothers Engineers, Inc for the construction of the Bourg Pumping Station Rehabilitation in the amount of $143,100.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to terminate the contract and to compensate Hebert Brothers Engineers, Inc for work completed in the amount of $25,740.15.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. To approve and authorize the execution of Final Change Order No. One (1) to the contract for the Bourg Pumping Station Rehabilitation to decrease the contract amount by $117,359.85 and to pay Hebert Brothers Engineers, Inc for the work completed prior to the contract termination in the amount of $25,740.15.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
