Title
An ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances by revising Chapter 22, Article V. Sewer Development Connection Fee, by adding Section 22-107 (d) regarding reduction of fees for Parish Government Agencies.
Body
WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish Code, Section 22, Article V. provides for Sewer Development Connection Fees on new construction; and,
WHEREAS,      it is the desire of the Parish Council to reduce the fees established therein for projects of Parish Government Agencies.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.      That the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 22, Article V, Section 22-107 is hereby amended by adding the following:
(d)      The Sewer Development Connection Fee established herein shall be reduced by fifty (50) percent for the connection of properties owned by St. Charles Parish Government, including St. Charles Parish Public Library, St. Charles Parish School Board, St. Charles Parish Hospital and St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office.
