Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Environmental Construction Corporation for the Construction of St. Charles Parish "C" Clarifier Upgrade in the amount of $519,002.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on August 5, 2005, for the Construction of St. Charles Parish "C" Clarifier Upgrade; and,
WHEREAS, Danny J. Hebert, P.E. LLC, Consulting Engineer for the Project, has reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Environmental Construction Corporation in the amount of $519,002.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Environmental Construction Corporation for the Construction of St. Charles Parish "C" Clarifier Upgrade be hereby accepted in the amount of $519,002.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract documents on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of ___________, 2005, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
