Title
A resolution to commit St. Charles Parish to provide local monies for the Almedia Road Widening (LA 50), Planning and Construction Project identified in the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement between the State of Louisiana and the Parish of St. Charles.
Body
WHEREAS, Councilman April Black in conjunction with Representative Glenn B. Ansardi have worked to secure funding to begin the Almedia Road Widening Project through the State Capital Outlay Program; and,
WHEREAS, the Louisiana Legislature adopted Act No. 21 of the 2000 Regular Session containing an appropriation of $110,000.00 for the Project; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish of St. Charles must provide evidence of the availability and commitment of $36,700.00 in local matching funds for the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL do hereby agree to allocate, pledge, and dedicate $36,700.00 in local matching funds for the Almedia Road Widening (LA 50) Project in the Road and Drainage Special Revenue Fund (112).
