IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Taylor Renee Petit is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Luling, Louisiana with her parents Angela and Clifford Fenerty, and her brother Conor and sister Allie; and,
WHEREAS, Taylor graduated from Hahnville High School in 2011 and is a freshman at Southeastern Louisiana University where she is majoring in Nursing; working towards a career in Nursing Administration; and,
WHEREAS, on June 18, 2011, Taylor was crowned Louisiana Catfish Queen XXXVI at the Father Mac Community Center in Des Allemands; and,
WHEREAS, Taylor has represented the Louisiana Catfish Festival by travelling all over the state at local and parish events; and,
WHEREAS, on Saturday, February 11, 2012, Taylor represented the Louisiana Catfish Festival, St. Gertrude's Catholic Church in Des Allemands, and St. Charles Parish while attending the 64th Annual Mardi Gras Ball in Washington, D.C.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
TAYLOR RENEE PETIT
LOUISIANA CATFISH QUEEN XXXVI

hospitality, rural living and sporting
