Title

An ordinance to authorize the installation of Stop signs at the intersection of Preston Hollow Road, Mockingbird Lane and Turtle Creek Lane in St. Rose.

Body

WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances, Chapter 15 Motor Vehicles and Traffic provides for the installation of traffic control signs; and,

WHEREAS,      it is the desire of the Parish Council to authorize the removal of the yield sign on Mockingbird Lane at the intersection of Preston Hollow Road and to install "STOP" signs on Preston Hollow Road at Mockingbird Lane, on Mockingbird Lane at Preston Hollow Road and on Turtle Creek Lane at Preston Hollow Road all at the entrance to Preston Hollow Subdivision in St. Rose.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.      That the Yield sign located on Mockingbird Lane at Preston Hollow Road shall be removed and that there are hereby established Stop signs on Preston Hollow Road at Mockingbird Lane, on Mockingbird Lane at Preston Hollow Road and on Turtle Creek Lane at Preston Hollow Road in St. Rose.

      SECTION II.      That the Department of Public Works is hereby authorized to erect and maintain said "STOP" signs.

      The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
