In Recognition: 2003 14-Year Old All Star State Champions

IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation Department has long held a prominent place in the State of Louisiana and the United States as an outstanding Parish and Recreation Program; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles 14-Year Old Boys All-Stars have excelled in the 2003 All-Star Baseball Season; and,
WHEREAS, on June 27-29, 2003, the St. Charles 14-Year Old Boys All-Star Team were undefeated in the Zachary Invitation in Zachary, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS, on July 4-6, 2003, the St. Charles 14-Year Old Boys All-Star Team finished in first place USSSA Independence Day Blowout in Gulfport, Mississippi; and,
WHEREAS, on July 18-23, 2003, the St. Charles 14-Year Old Boys All-Star Team finished in first place in the Dixie Boys South Super Regional in Luling, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS, on July 26-27, 2003, the St. Charles 14-Year Old Boys All-Star Team finished in first place in the State Championship in Bossier Parish, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS, on August 1-6, 2003, the St. Charles 14-Year Old Boys All-Star Team tied for third place in the Dixie Boys World Series in Jackson, Tennessee; and,
WHEREAS, members of the Parish Council and the Parish President wish to recognize the outstanding performance of members of the 2003 St. Charles 14-Year Old Boys All-Stars and their coaches.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, DO HEREBY RECOGNIZE
THE ST. CHARLES 14-YEAR OLD ALL-STARS
