Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with GIS Engineering, LLC, to perform engineering services for Montz Pump Station No. 2 (Project No. P210806), not to exceed $913,980.00.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish desires to improve drainage in the Montz area by designing an additional pump station in Montz as recommended by the Montz Master Drainage Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish desires to construct Montz Pump Station No. 2 between Kansas City Southern Railroad (KCS) and Airline Highway; and,
WHEREAS, the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and GIS Engineering, LLC, describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and GIS Engineering, LLC, to perform engineering services as required by the Department of Public Works for Montz Pump Station No. 2 (Project No. P210806), not to exceed $913,980.00, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2021, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
