Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) for the 1999 Road Maintenance Program to increase the contract amount by $164,798.00.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 99-6-20 adopted June 21, 1999, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Barriere Construction Co., L.L.C. for the construction of the 1999 Road Maintenance Program in the amount of $750,834.72; and,
SECTION II. That it is necessary to increase the construction amount by $164,798.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) to the contract for the 1999 Road Maintenance Program, to increase the construction amount by $164,798.00.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
