Title
A resolution designating the St. Charles Parish President as the appropriate party to sign the application for the Fiscal Year 2001 Home Energy Assistance Contract and the Director of St. Charles Parish Department of Community Services to sign all request for reimbursements with the Louisiana Housing Finance Agency, and further do all things necessary to implement, maintain, amend or renew said documents.

WHEREAS, the Department of Community Services avails itself of every opportunity to provide for the needs of Parish citizens; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Louisiana Housing Finance Agency, encourages local government participation in its activities through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program(LIHEAP); and
WHEREAS, local residents will benefit by having assistance available to help with there home energy cost.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby designate the St. Charles Parish President as the appropriate party to sign the application for the Fiscal Year 2001 Home Energy Assistant Contract and the Director of the St. Charles Parish Department of Community Services to sign all request for reimbursements with the Louisiana Housing Finance Agency.
