Title
An ordinance of the Parish of St. Charles, providing that the Code of Ordinances, Parish of St. Charles, be amended by revising Section 15-10, Motor Vehicles and Traffic to provide an exception to the Load Limit, to waive the load limit on River Bend Drive.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Paragraph (a) of Section 15-10 of the Code of Ordinances of the Parish of St. Charles, provides that it is unlawful to drive, operate, or move or for the owner to cause or permit to be driven, operated or moved, over or upon any of the public roads of the parish, other than state roads or highways, any vehicle or combination or train of vehicles, trucks, trailers or semitrailers carrying a load exceeding five (5) tons or ten thousand (10,000) pounds in weight on any single vehicle or combination of vehicles, trucks, trailers or semitrailers exclusive of the weight of such vehicles, trucks, trailers or semitrailers, except for local delivery.
SECTION II. That Paragraph (a) provide an exception to waive the load limit on River Bend Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby amend Section 15-10 of the Traffic Code to add No. (1) as follows:
