IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Christopher Robert Wiggins is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Luling, Louisiana with his parents Marty and Lisa and sister Amanda; and,
WHEREAS, Christopher is a member of Troop 370, chartered by St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling; he started his Scouting career September of 2005; and,
WHEREAS, Christopher has spent the last 12 years as an active member of the Scouts spending the last 7 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS, Christopher has earned his 31 merit badges from a list of 126 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by building and installing a cedar bench in the First Baptist Church of Luling Prayer Garden; and,
WHEREAS, Christopher earned these 31 badges by showing leadership ability as Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Assistant Patrol Leader, and Historian; and,
WHEREAS, Christopher rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on January 27, 2017, and received his medal in a ceremony on May 13, 2017, at the St. Anthony of Padua Community Activity Building in Luling; and,
WHEREAS, Christopher graduated from Hahnville High School in 2017 and will be attending the University of Louisiana Lafayette and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by providing leadership as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 370.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
