An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Project No. P130103, Storm Window Retrofit Public Works Office Building Project to decrease the contract amount by $15,000.00 and decrease the contract time by thirty two (32) days.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13-9-12, adopted September 16, 2013, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Wainwright Construction, Inc. Project No. P130103, Storm Window Retrofit Public Works Office Building Project in the amount of $124,432.00; and,
WHEREAS, The decrease in the lump sum contract amount resulted from the decrease of one (1) Schedule of Values line item in the amount of $15,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, The decrease in contract time of thirty two (32) days was a result of a reduction in days due to completion of work in advance of the originally scheduled Completion Date.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS,
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P130103, Storm Window Retrofit Public Works Office Building Project to decrease the contract amount by $15,000.00 and decrease the contract time by thirty two (32) days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
