Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Lease with the St. Charles Parish School Board for office space at the Eual J. Landry Middle School.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 05-6-14 on June 20, 2006, approving a Lease with the St. Charles Parish School Board for the use of two buildings at the Eual J. Landry Middle School totaling 14,257 square feet located at 171 Keller Street, Hahnville; and,
WHEREAS, said Lease was for a period of one year and the School Board has agreed to execute a new Lease for a period of three years; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Lease.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Lease between the St. Charles Parish School Board and St. Charles Parish is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Lease on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
