Title
An ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Parish of St. Charles Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to add #7 to Section IV. [IV]. 1.c., to allow warehouses (storing non hazardous materials) over 10,000 sq. ft. in a C-3 zoning district with a Special Permit Use.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance #81-10-6 established a zoning ordinance for St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, Warehouses less than 10,000 sq. ft. are allowed in a C-3 zoning district; and,
WHEREAS, Warehouses larger than 10,000 sq. ft. are allowed in M-1 zoning districts without a Special Use Permit.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Parish of St. Charles Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Appendix A, Section VI. C. [IV.} C-3. Highway Commercial District; 1. c., be amended by adding the following subpart:
(7) Warehouses (non hazardous materials) over 10,000 sq. ft.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby provide that the Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Parish of St. Charles, State of Louisiana is amended by allowing warehouses (non hazardous materials) over 10,000 sq. ft. in a C-3 zoning district as a Special Permit Use.
