Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Civil Construction Contractors, Inc for the construction of Parish Project P021005, Lagatutta Estates Pump Upgrade in the amount of $506,603.82.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on July 16, 2004 for Lagatutta Estates Pump Upgrade and,
WHEREAS, Digital Engineering and Imaging, Inc., consulting engineer for the project, has reviewed the bids and recommend that the contract be awarded to the low bidder, Civil Construction Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $506,603.82.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Civil Construction Contractors, Inc for the construction of Lagatutta Estates Pump Upgrade be hereby accepted in the amount of $506,603.82.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of __________, 2004, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
