Proclamation: "Krewe of G-Old Timers Day"

P R O C L A M A T I O N
WHEREAS, on Thursday, February 12, 2015, the Krewe of G-Old Timers will hold its Fourth Annual Mardi Gras Dance at the Community Center, Judge Edward Dufrense Parkway Luling, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS, this dance is traditionally enjoyed by hundreds of senior citizens of St. Charles Parish each year for a day of fellowship and festivity; and,
WHEREAS, this event is sponsored and organized by St. Charles Council on Aging, Inc., St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation, and Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP); their staff and volunteers make this event possible; and,
WHEREAS, the residents and senior citizens of St. Charles Parish are truly grateful for their dedication and hard work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2015, AS
"KREWE OF G-OLD TIMERS DAY"
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT, ON BEHALF OF THE CITIZENS OF ST. CHARLES PARISH, WE DO HEREBY EXTEND OUR SINCERE THANKS AND APPRECIATION TO ST. CHARLES COUNCIL ON AGING, INC., ST. CHARLES PARISH DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, AND THE RETIRE AND SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (RSVP), AGENCY STAFF MEMBERS, AND VOLUNTEERS FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE KREWE OF G-OLD TIMERS.
