Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) for Parish Project S000601, Luling Oxidation Pond Wetland Assimilation, to decrease the contract amount by $21,400.00.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. , adopted December 19, 2005 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Fleming Construction, Co., Inc. for the construction of Parish Project S000601, Luling Oxidation Pond Wetland Assimilation; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. One (1) is necessary since St. Charles Parish Department of Wastewater, in an effort to reduce the overall construction cost of the project, has negotiated with the Contractor and agreed to install the timber piles for the aerial crossing portion of the project.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. One (1) for Parish Project S000601, Luling Oxidation Pond Wetland Assimilation, to decrease the overall contract amount by $21,400.00 is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. One (1).
