Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, LLC, to perform engineering services for Primrose Canal Cleaning and Improvements (Project No. P210202), in the amount not to exceed $637,824.00.
Body
WHEREAS, the existing canal along Primrose Drive has become overgrown with vegetation and has experienced bank failures and erosion at various locations along its length; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish desires to stabilize the bank where necessary and clean the entire length of the canal to ensure proper drainage and manageable maintenance; and,
WHEREAS, the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, LLC, describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, LLC, for services as required by the Department of Public Works, in the amount not to exceed $637,824.00, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2022, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
