An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. One (1) - Final for Parish Project No. P021201, Road Maintenance 2003, to decrease the contract amount by $2,265.60 and to decrease the contract time by 96 days.

Body

WHEREAS,      Ordinance No. 03-9-16, adopted September 22, 2003, by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P021201, Road Maintenance 2003, to Barriere Construction Co., L.L.C.; and,

WHEREAS,      it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $2,265.60 in the contract amount and a decrease in the contract time by 96 calendar days.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.  That Change Order No. One (1) - Final for the Road Maintenance 2003 contract to decrease the contract amount by $2,265.60 and to decrease the contract time by 96 days is hereby approved.

SECTION II.  That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
