Title
A resolution authorizing the Director of Finance to establish a Capital Project Fund for the Bayou Trepagnier Pump Station, East Bank Hurricane Protection Levee, Norco.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish Council approved ordinance number 03-3-4 to approve an agreement with Motiva Enterprises, LLC and Shell Chemical LP for funding of the Bayou Trepagnier Pump Station, East Bank Hurricane Protection Levee, Norco; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish Council approved ordinance number 03-5-19 to authorize the issuance of $4,735,000 of sales tax bonds for the Parish's portion of the funding for the Bayou Trepagnier Pump Station, East Bank Hurricane Protection Levee, Norco; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has advised of the need to open a new fund for the financial administration of these funds to be entitled “Bayou Trepagnier Pump Station”.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Parish Council of the Parish of St. Charles, State of Louisiana, acting as the governing authority of said Parish: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to establish a Capital Project Fund for the Bayou Trepagnier Pump Station to facilitate the financial administration of these funds.
