Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Meyer Engineers, Ltd. for Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant Aeration Basin Rehabilitation (Project No. S211202), not to exceed $30,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish desires to Rehabilitate the Aeration Basins at the Destrehan Plant damaged by Hurricane Ida; and,
WHEREAS, the projected work includes but not limited to; survey, geotechnical, conceptual, preliminary and final design plans; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish wishes to contract with Meyer Engineers, Ltd. to perform the Design Alternative Study for the Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant Aeration Basin Rehabilitation (Project No. S211202), described the proposal of services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Meyer Engineers, Ltd., to perform engineering services as required by the Department of Public Works/Wastewater for Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant Aeration Basin Rehabilitation (Project No. S211202), not to exceed $30,000.00, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2022, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
