Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification from R-3 to R-1A on a 609,850 square foot area consisting of Parcels F, I and portions of Parcels G and J, Fashion Plantation Subdivision, as requested by Fashion Plantation Estates, LLC.

WHEREAS, the property owner requests rezoning from R-3 to R-1A on a 609,850 square foot area consisting of Parcels F, I and portions of Parcels G and J, Fashion Plantation Subdivision; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting of June 4, 2020.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981 is amended to change the zoning classification from R-3 to R-1A on a 609,850 square foot area consisting of Parcels F, I and portions of Parcels G and J, Fashion Plantation Subdivision, as requested by Fashion Plantation Estates, LLC.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from R-3 to R-1A on a 609,850 square foot area consisting of Parcels F, I and portions of Parcels G and J, Fashion Plantation Subdivision, as requested by Fashion Plantation Estates, LLC.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ____________, 2020 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
