Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with McKim & Creed, Inc., to perform engineering services for the Luling Pond Lift Station and Upgrades Project (Project No. S211204), in the lump sum amount of $29,565.71.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish desires to construct a new lift station and pressure manifold to transfer wastewater from the Luling Pond to the adjacent wetlands; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish also desires to add an UV disinfection unit to eliminate traditional chlorine disinfection; and,
WHEREAS, the modeling/conceptual phase will develop the requirements for further design under an amended agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and McKim & Creed, Inc. describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and McKim & Creed, Inc., to perform engineering services as required by the Department of Wastewater for the Luling Pond Lift Station and Upgrades Project (Project No. S211204), in the lump sum amount of $29,565.71, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2022, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
