Title
An ordinance approving PZSPU 2017-04, for expansion of the Type III Construction and Demolition Debris landfill at 5900 LA 3127, Killona onto Parcel H2, approximately 70 acres, as requested by KV Enterprises, LLC.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981 requires both Planning & Zoning Commission approval and an ordinance of the Parish Council for the expansion of a landfill; and,
WHEREAS, KV Enterprises, represented by Wade Scott, wishes to expand KV Landfill; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission approved the request at its regular meeting of September 7, 2017.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL ORAINS:
SECTION I. That the Special Permit Use for the expansion of the KV Landfill located at 5900 LA 3127, Killona, LA, as a construction and demolition debris landfill in an M-2 Zoning District, is hereby approved for Parcel H2, approximately 70 acres, Killona Investments Subdivision, 5800 LA 3127, Killona, LA, as per case number PZSPU 2017-04 as proposed by KV Enterprises, LLC.
SECTION II. That said Special Permit Use shall be for a Type III Landfill Facility, construction and demolition debris landfill, as currently defined in the St. Charles Parish Code, Appendix A, Zoning Ordinance, Section III., Definitions, Landfill and Section VI., [II], M-2 Heavy Manufacturing and Industry, 1., b., Special Permit Uses and Structures.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:




And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2017, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
