Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance No. 17-7-4 to eliminate the compensation for "state" services, which approved an Agreement between Tauzin Consultants, LLC and St. Charles Parish for governmental affairs representation.
Body
WHEREAS, on July 10, 2017 the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 17-7-4 which approved an Agreement between Tauzin Consultants, LLC and St. Charles Parish for governmental affairs representation, which expires on July 31, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, Tauzin has provided direct representation before the Federal Government, including Congress, the Administration and various Federal Agencies, along with representation before various State Government Agencies, for priority projects of St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council wishes to eliminate the compensation for "state" services at the rate of Five Thousand ($5,000.00) dollars per month through July 31, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the St. Charles Parish Council to continue the "federal" services of Tauzin Consultants, LLC.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance No. 17-7-4 is hereby approved eliminating the compensation for "state" services at the rate of Five Thousand ($5,000.00) dollars per month through July 31, 2018.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment No. 1 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:




And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2018, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
