Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification from R-1A and R-1M to R-1A(M) on Lot C, Block 5, Hahnville Subdivision, between 163 and 147 Hahn Street, Hahnville as requested by Marvin and Enica Singleton.
Body
WHEREAS, Marvin and Enica Singleton request a rezoning from R-1A and R-1M to R-1A(M) on Lot C, Block 5, Hahnville Subdivision, Hahnville as shown on the survey by R.P. Bernard, PLS dated September 29, 2004; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended denial of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting on August 1, 2024.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981 is amended to change the zoning classification from R-1A and R-1M to R-1A(M) on Lot C, Block 5, Hahnville Subdivision, Hahnville as shown on the survey by R.P. Bernard, PLS dated September 29, 2004, as requested by Marvin and Enica Singleton.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from R-1A and R-1M to R-1A(M) on Lot C, Block 5, Hahnville Subdivision, Hahnville as shown on the survey by R.P. Bernard, PLS dated September 29, 2004, as requested by Marvin and Enica Singleton.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2024, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
