Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. P060501 West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee-Phase I Magnolia Ridge, Part 2, Clearing and Grubbing, to decrease the contract amount by $10,850 and to decrease the contract time by 8 days.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 06-7-13 adopted July 24, 2006 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P060501 West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee-Phase I Magnolia Ridge, Part 2, Clearing and Grubbing to B&K Construction Co., Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $10,850 in the contract amount and a decrease in the contract time by 8 calendar days.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. To approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for the Parish Project No. P060501 West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee-Phase I Magnolia Ridge, Part 2, Clearing and Grubbing contract to decrease the contract amount by $10,850 and to decrease the contract time by 8 days.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
