ORDINANCE NO.  ___________

Title

An ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances Chapter 2, Administration, Article IV. Finance, Division 1. Generally by adding Sec. 2-74 Executive Order Reports.

Body

WHEREAS,      it is in the best interest of the Parish Council to be made aware of all Executive Orders that make changes to the original budget adopted by the Parish Council; and,

WHEREAS,      receiving copies of all Executive Orders would make the Parish Council aware of all changes made to the original budget adopted by the Parish Council; and,

WHEREAS,      receiving copies of all Executive Orders would assist in the check and balance between the Executive and Legislative Branches of Government; and,

WHEREAS,      it is the desire of the Parish Council to receive copies of all Executive Orders.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.      That the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 2, Administration, Article IV, Finance, Division 1. Generally, be amended by adding Sec. 2-74 Executive Order Reports.

      Executive Order Reports

      The Department of Finance shall submit a copy of all Executive Orders to the Parish Council within five (5) days after execution by the Parish President.

      The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
