IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Joshua Kaare Finstad is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Luling, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS, Joshua is an Assistant Scout Master and member of Troop 370, chartered by St. Anthony Catholic Church; and,
WHEREAS, Joshua has spent the last 11 years as an active member of the Scouts spending the last 7 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS, Joshua has earned his 11 required and 10 elective badges from a list of 128 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project, by tearing down, planning, designing, and building a new playground at Luling United Methodist Church to achieve the rank of EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS, Joshua earned these 21 required badges by showing leadership ability as senior patrol leader, patrol leader, quartermaster, assistant senior patrol leader and numerous other leadership roles; and,
WHEREAS, Joshua rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT in April 2001 and received his medal in a ceremony in June 2001 at the Luling United Methodist Church; and,
WHEREAS, Joshua is an adult leader serving in the capacity of Assistant Scout Master for Troop 370 in Luling, Louisiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
JOSHUA KAARE FINSTAD
