Title
A resolution supporting the St. Charles Parish Application to the Governor's Rural Development Fund for the Luling Bridge Park Parking Lot Expansion Project.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish is submitting an application for 1999-2000 funds from the Governor's Office of Rural Development, under the Rural Development Law, and;
WHEREAS, the Rural Development Administration Application procedures require a resolution of support from the local governing body, and;
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish is applying for funds for the Luling Bridge Park Parking Lot Expansion Project, and;
WHEREAS, upon completion, the Luling Bridge Park Complex will be a significant addition to the recreational facilities available to parish citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and support the St. Charles Parish application for 1999-2000 Rural Development funds for the Luling Bridge Park Parking Lot Expansion Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to secure said funds.
