ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance to approve and to authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) for the Hahnville Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Project to increase the contract time by 80 days and to decrease the contract price by $197,284.73.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 98-7-8, adopted by St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with C. R. Pittman Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of the Hahnville Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant in the amount of $12,399,000.00.
SECTION II. That it is necessary to amend the contract to increase the contract time by 80 days to account for additional work to the project for a total of twenty-nine (29) additional items.
SECTION III. That it is necessary to increase the contract time by 80 calendar days and decrease the contract price by $197,284.73.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) to the contract for the Hahnville Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Project and to increase the contract time by 80 days and decrease the contract price by $197,284.73.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
