ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 2 (Final) for Parish Project No P020903, West Bank Multi-Use Path, State Project No. 744-45-0007, Federal Project No. ARR-4502(500) to adjust quantities in the amount of $2,803.75.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 09-8-8 adopted August 17, 2009 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No P020903, West Bank Multi-Use Path, State Project No. 744-45-0007, Federal Project No. ARR-4502(500), to Boh Bros. Construction Co., LLC; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11-1-9 adopted January 24, 2011 by the St. Charles Parish Council increased the contract amount by $324,082.36 and increased the contract time fifteen (15) working days; and,
WHEREAS, The final audit by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development discovered an error in the quantities which will result in an increase of $2,803.75 to the contractor and to adjust Line Item 710-01 Temporary Signs a& Barricades to zero. It is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract amount to include the result of the audit and adjust for the one line item.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No.2 (Final) for Parish Project No. P020903, West Bank Multi-Use Path, State Project No. 744-45-0007, Federal Project No. ARR-4502(500), to increase the contract amount by $2,803.75 is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. 2 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
