IN MEMORIAM
WHEREAS, on August 23, 2004, Almighty God, in His Infinite Wisdom, saw fit to call from amongst us one of His most worthy servants, Dee Richard Matherne; and,
WHEREAS, Dee began working for the Department of Parks and Recreation on April 19, 1993 as a Laborer, promoted to Warehouse Clerk for the Department of Public Works on August 15, 1994 and then on July 1, 1996 Dee was promoted to Communications Operator for the Department of Emergency Preparedness; and,
WHEREAS, Dee was a very dedicated public employee who completed numerous training classes to further his job knowledge and was always ready to assist where he was needed; receiving perfect attendance in 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2001; and,
WHEREAS, Dee will be deeply missed not only by his family, friends, and co-workers, but also by the many residents of St. Charles Parish that he assisted throughout his years of service; and,
WHEREAS, on behalf of all citizens of St. Charles Parish, the Parish Council and the Parish President wish to posthumously honor DEE RICHARD MATHERNE as an outstanding and dedicated Public Servant of the Parish of St. Charles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, duly assembled on this 21st day of March, 2005, do hereby express our sincere sympathy to the family of
DEE RICHARD MATHERNE

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that when this meeting is adjourned, it shall be done in memory of DEE RICHARD MATHERNE.
