In Recognition: Naomi Elizabeth Westbrook, 2014-2015 River Parishes Fall Festival Teen Queen of Hearts

IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Naomi Elizabeth Westbrook is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in St. Rose, Louisiana. Her parents are Ray and Tammy Westbrook, and she has one sister, Kelsey Funck; and,
WHEREAS, Naomi is currently a Junior at Destrehan High School and after graduating, would like to attend Louisiana State University to major in Sociology and minor in Social Work; and,
WHEREAS, Naomi currently maintains a 4.0 GPA and has received the Vieux Carre' Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizenship award, Principal's List two-year award, and represented Destrehan High School this summer at the Louisiana Youth Seminar Leadership Program; and,
WHEREAS, Naomi is a member of the National Beta Club, is Student Council Executive Board Secretary, a member of the Cheerleading Team, and Mu Alpha Theta club; and,
WHEREAS, Naomi enjoys cheerleading, theatre, reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends; and,
WHEREAS, on Saturday, November 15, 2014, Naomi was crowned River Parishes Fall Festival Teen Queen of Hearts at the annual Queen of Hearts Pageant held at Sacred Heart of Jesus School in Norco; and,
WHEREAS, Naomi will represent the parish at several fairs and festivals throughout Louisiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
