Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Agreement with F. J. Arcement Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Records Storage Building at 15012 C River Road in Hahnville.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on September 23, 2010 for the construction of the Records Storage Building (File Storage Building) to be located at 15012 C River Road in Hahnville; and,
WHEREAS, Campo Designs Architects, Inc. has reviewed the bids and recommends that the project be awarded to the low bidder, F. J. Arcement Construction, Inc. in the amount of $417,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Agreement.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of F. J. Arcement Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Records Storage Building (File Storage Building) is hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $417,000.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
