A resolution appointing Mr. Garrett C. Monti to the Regional Planning Commission.

Body

WHEREAS,                     Ordinance No. 16-12-4 was adopted by the St. Charles Parish Council on December 12, 2016, to approve the re-establishment of a Regional Planning Commission to include the Parishes of St. Charles and St. John the Baptist jointly with the Parishes of Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, and Tangipahoa; and,

WHEREAS,                     by virtue of this Resolution, the Governing Authority of St. Charles Parish shall appoint a member to the Regional Planning Commission who must not otherwise hold elected or appointed office in the Parish of St. Charles and approved by the Parish President.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that                      Mr. Garrett C. Monti                                                                                    306 Lac Iberville Drive, Luling, LA  70070                                           is hereby appointed to the REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said appointment shall be effective JANUARY 8, 2023 and shall expire JANUARY 8, 2028.

                     The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

 

 

 

 

And the resolution was declared adopted this             day of                     , 2022, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
