Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. S181201, Lone Star Sewer Rehabilitation, to decrease the contract amount by $34,100.00, and increase the contract time by 122 days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 20-3-3 adopted March 9, 2020, by the St. Charles Parish Council approved and authorized the execution of a Contract for professional engineering services with N-Y Associates, Inc. for Parish Project No. S181201 Lone Star Sewer Rehabilitation; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 21-1-2 adopted January 11, 2021, by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. S181201 Lone Star Sewer Rehabilitation to BLD Services, LLC; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 21-6-8 adopted June 7, 2021, by the St. Charles Parish Council approved and authorized the execution of Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance No. 20-3-3, Contract for professional engineering services with N-Y Associates, Inc. for Parish Project No. S181201 Lone Star Sewer Rehabilitation; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease to the contract amount by $34,100.00 and increase the number of contract calendar days by 122.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. S181201, Lone Star Sewer Rehabilitation, to decrease the contract amount by $34,100.00 and increase the contract time by 122 days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. 1 (Final) on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
SECTION III. St Charles Parish considers the project complete and accepts all improvements and modifications installed during execution of the project.
