Title
A resolution providing supporting authorization to endorse the resubdivision of Lots D-1 and D-2 on Zeller Street with waivers from the required area and width as requested by Joshua Veillon, Lisa Fontenot & Sandra Robert, et als.
Body
WHEREAS, the property owners request a resubdivision to create Lots D-1A and D-2A with metes and bounds that correspond to the legal description in the titles of each property; and,
WHEREAS, Lot D-2A does not meet the required 60-foot width or 6,000 square foot area for the R-1A zoning district; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Subdivision Ordinance of 1981 (as amended) requires a supporting resolution of the Parish Council to waive the required area and width; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, at their August 2, 2018, meeting recommended approval of the resubdivision with said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, hereby provides this supporting authorization to endorse the resubdivision of Lots D-1 and D-2, being a portion of a larger tract of land designated as Lot No. 3 into Lots D-1A and D-2A with waivers from the minimum 6,000 square foot area to 4,100 square feet and from the required 60-foot width to 50-feet for Lot D-2A as shown on a plat by Louis J. Gassen Jr., PLS dated July 27, 2018 and requested by Joshua Veillon, Lisa Fontenot & Sandra Robert, et als, and.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the resolution was declared adopted this day of , 2018, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
